Okami Cheats and Unlockables - Nintendo Wii

If you know me, and I hope many of you at least feel as if you know me through my posts here; then every time you hear me talk about Okami on the PS2 you hear me say go ahead and buy it. Well, as it turns out they did an equally impressive job on the Nintendo Wii version of the game. So now the choice is yours; buy it on the PS2 or buy it on the Wii.

Okami is a very unique game based on Japanese mythology which is presented in a unique paintbrush fashion which makes it one of the best looking titles on the PS2 to date (and feel free to insert Wii into that statement). While the gameplay isn't very hard, you can enjoy the views and the story from start to finish. Here are some unlockables for both versions of the game.

Grand Theft Auto Cheats and Codes

By this time next week a large portion of PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be playing Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV, the long awaited next gen version of the highly popular GTA series. So, as a reminder, all Grand Theft Auto cheats can be found on the GTA Cheats Index. And next week this will include any and all cheats for Grand Theft Auto IV as well, so be sure to check back once you have the game in your hands to see what cheats are available for the game. Oh, and I actually think Jack Thompson will keep quiet this time, due to the impending election and his link to Hilary Clinton... we may just be so lucky!

  • Grand Theft Auto Cheats Index
Includes links to all Grand Theft Auto cheats, codes, and secrets; for all versions and platforms of the GTA series.

Dark Sector Unlockables for Xbox 360 and PS3

While I have yet to personally play the game, it seems everyone I talk to has the same thing to say about Dark Sector; try it! Apparently it lacks a good storyline to hold it all together, but if you're up for a good first person shooter and have had enough of what's currently available, give it a shot. But there is more bad news for cheaters out there — there are no cheats for Dark Sector; just unlockables, achievements, and entitlements. You can get the full scoop by reading the links below.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Cheats

Cheats and codes for Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga are now up, thanks to Jimmy Gordon, who pointed out I didn't have them listed and graciously sent them over. While the game has been out for a couple of months now, its never a bad time to revisit a game like this. You can grab codes for Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii at the links below.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Cheats - PS3 / Xbox 360

The latest version of Tom Clancey's Rainbow Six series has been released on PS3 and Xbox 360. There are cheats and codes for both versions of the game; Tom Clancey's Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Although, the one cheat that unlocks the TAR-21 is pretty silly, especially since its unlocked in the game early on at Marksman level 4. The PC version is slated for release later in April, for now, the console version cheats are linked below.

Army of Two Cheats - PS3 / Xbox 360

Its no secret that I have been looking forward to the release of Army of Two since I first heard about the game, and that day has finally come. Army of Two is now available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles.

I have posted a list of achievements for the Xbox 360 version of the game, and have been sent in a code for infinite life and ammunition for the PS3 version. There are also codes for both versions to allow you to unlock special weapons, but from what I understand they are once and done type codes. I'm sure there are multi-use codes out there, we just need to wait and see when they actually turn up.

By the way, this code for the PS3 version has not been confirmed by me personally, so if you can confirm that it works, or deny that it works please email me and I will update the cheats page. Grab the code and other Army of Two information at the pages below.

Edit: The PS3 cheat code was a fake and has been removed.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Cheats - PS3

The video game Lost Planet: Extreme Condition has been on the Xbox 360 for about a year, but it just made its way to the PlayStation 3. Oddly enough, when Xavier sent these codes for the PS3 in he also mentioned I missed a couple for the Xbox 360 (which has now been updated). You can grab the codes for Lost Planet at the links below.

Old and New Oblivion Cheats - PC

Its been a long time since we talked about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, but the fact remains that it is still one of the most popular PC games being played by gamers. I recently received a message from Ahmed, a frequent visitor, who pointed out that I was missing a code. In fact, I did have the code listed (the player.setav code), but I needed to add an explanation to it.

If you're one of those gamers that are still hooked on Oblivion, then feel free to check out the cheats, codes, hints and tips I have listed on the site (there's a ton of them). Here are some important links for Oblivion cheats:

Xbox 360 Blue - Microsoft's Next Suggested Move

Now that Microsoft has officially backed out of the HD DVD market, discontinuing their Xbox 360 HD DVD player, there needs to be a next step. While the jury is still 'officially' out on the HD DVD vs. Blu Ray war, its fairly apparent that the Blu Ray technology is going to become the next standard and HD DVD is the new beta max. So, here is what Microsoft needs to do.

Introduce the Xbox 360 Blue, along with a buy back program supported by Microsoft through major retail chains, to help people ease the pain on the wallet when they upgrade. But there are a few things I suggest they keep in mind, and implement in this newest Xbox 360. Along with the standard features of an Xbox 360 Elite, the new Xbox 360 Blue should have, at a minimum, these additional features:

  • Built in Blu Ray DVD player
  • Built in wireless connectivity that supports the N standard
  • Built in support for Bluetooth headset connections for Xbox Live communications

Of course, these are just my suggestions. The buy back program needs to be there as an incentive to choose the Xbox 360 over the PlayStation 3, because as is, even though the current game line-up for the PS3 is limited, it is an enticing piece of hardware because of its range of capabilities and built-in support. So, what do you think? Feel free to post a comment.
