I don’t get it! Whenever i put that in nothing happens! I put it on the pause menu and it just acts like I clicked on whatever button it is on!

No you dont need to pause the game, I’ve activated cheats without pausing.
How do you do the motives cheat by typing something in??? LIke the FreeALl cheat.
FIRST OFF U CANT PAUSE THE GAME WHEN U PUT IN THE (Cheat Gnome) CODE . You have to do the cheat gnome code unpaused (ANY CODE WITH TRIANGLE IN IT MUST BE DONE UMPAUSED ) now if u do what i said IT WILL work!
first of all, you dont pause the game in
sims 2 pets playstation2, you just do the code.
i have some cheats to share…
The Cheat Gnome (enter during gameplay)
Cheat code: L1, L1, R1, X, X, D-pad Up.
This will activate the cheat gnome in The Sims 2: Pets on PlayStation 2.
Give Sim Pet Points
Cheat code: Triangle, Circle, X, Square, L1, R1
Note: This activates an option on the cheat gnome.
Upgrade Pet Emporium
Cheat code: Right, Down, Right, Up, Right, Down, Right, Up
Note: This will fully upgrade the Pet Emporium in Town Square.
Advance Time 6 Hours
Cheat code: Up, Left, Down, Right, R1
(this unlocks the option to advance time 6 hours on the cheat gnome)
Give 10,000 Simoleons
Cheat code: Up, Left, Down, Right, Circle
Special note: This cheat will give 10,000 simoleons, just like the method described below will, but is much easier to do. Submitted by A. Flannery.
Give 10,000 Simoleons
Cheat code: Up, Left, Down, Right, R1
Special note: You may notice that this cheat code is the same as the advance time cheat. The trick to getting it to work is to input the cheat once, then select the gnome and cancel the selection, then re-enter the cheat. Then, both advance time 6 hours and give simoleons cheats will be available via the gnome.

to do a cheat you must first press start, then go to options, go to the third option field and put in your chaet, remeber that you MUST have the gnome cheat first. When you go out side your house there will be the gnome go to it and activate your cheats. When doing more than one cheat always go back to your third option field and do your cheat. If your cheat starts with triangle press x on one of the boxes you will see and then do your cheat. you will know if you have done this right because a women will sigh if you have done it wrong she will clear her throat. Just keep trying until she sighs. Hope that helps!!!

Hey,people’s!People who wanna have kids on the Sims 2,good luck trying to!You can’t have kids on the PS2 type version of the Sims only on the PSP and PC and also XBOX and I am really mad because thats all I wanted to do because it’s fun lookin after a child!So good luck trying to have a baby and have fun with the game!I have tried everything to have one!!!!Sorry about your luck peoples!
