Electronic Arts has officially announced The Sims 3 with a February 2009 release date. The Sims 3 is the sequel to The Sims 2, which is ranked as the number one game franchise in the world (according to EA). Based on the popularity of the game and the amount of request I get for cheats for The Sims 2 I see no reason to doubt that statement. So it looks like Sim fans around the globe have something to look forward to in 2009 - too bad they didn't get the game on track for 2008's holiday season. You know what that means... start saving your cash or ask for gift cards now.

This is actually wrong. It comes out in June on PC.
I mean seriously. I was all excited yestarday because I thought “The Sims 3″ was coming out. Now i find out today that I have to wait another 4 months for a game I preordered January 21 ?!! I’m realy upset that I was told the wrond release date. If anyone (EA producers included) gets any info on the “new” release date please let me know. lpoppl14@comcast.net

The Sims 3 should hurry up and come out on PS2 who cares if it is old it should be out on PS2 and any ther consoles
