The New Xbox Experience Hits 360

Have you logged on to your Xbox 360 in the past few days? There's a big update to the dashboard that Microsoft calls the New Xbox Experience, or NXE, since they like to abbreviate things.

I took a quick peek at it last night and I was mostly impressed, although there are several 'growing pain' glitches here and there - so don't be surprised if you get a few errors when you do log on.

At first I though I was booting up my Nintendo Wii since I was prompted to create an avatar, a virtual representation of myself. Very similar to Nintendo's Mii on the Wii (say that ten times fast). Aside from the basic look, which to me appears a bit slicker overall, the next biggest addition has to be the Netflix streaming, which I haven't tried.

Get more info on the New Xbox Experience at xbox.com, or just fire up your Xbox 360 and check it out.

I had this problem last year twice the first time I took it back I got a new one at best buy. The second time though the warranty was up and microsoft said they could not do anything about it, unless I paid $140 for the repair and that didn’t include shipping and handling. I was pretty mad but I did some across a repair guide, with videos for like $20 and it saved my gamer score from suffering ha. It took about an hour to fix my rrod error and opening the console was a snap. I got it from http://redlightxbox360.com if you are having the same problems and microsuck wants you to shell out more money I suggest getting a repair guide.
