Hard to believe another year has come and gone, but the time to kiss 2008 goodbye is here. It was a great year for video games though, with new games in some of the most popular video game franchises including Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Fallout and many more.
In addition we've seen great new titles such as Left 4 Dead, Little Big Planet, Dead Space and EndWar just to name a few. Microsoft revamped the Xbox 360 'experience' and Sony launched PlayStation Home while Nintendo sat back and watched people scramble to buy the Wii and the DS.
Time to look ahead to Halo Wars and Resident Evil 5, but before we get ahead of ourselves, here are a few top 10 video game lists of 2008 from fellow About.com Guides.
