Crackdown Achievement Guide
Listed below are the achievements that can be currently earned by playing the Crackdown video game on the Xbox 360, along with the easiest way to obtain them. The goal of this article is to help you gain the achievements quickly, so you can spend more time cleaning up the streets in Crackdown. If you are looking for a list just detailing what the achievements are, then look at the Crackdown Achievements List located here.
Here is the list of achievements for Crackdown, along with the quickest and simplest way to earn them. In some cases, the way to earn the achievement is brutally simple, and therefore not much of an explanation is needed. However, some of the achievements may have you stumped — the notes indicated below the achievement should help you out. If there are no details by an achievement and you have a quick way to gain them, or a quicker way than I have listed, please let me know and I will add your details here.
Agency Athlete - 20 gamerscore points.
Run & jump your way to a 4-star Agility rating.
Tip: Getting the Agency Athlete achievement is pretty simple, but in order to do so you will need to get your agility rating to 4, for tips on increasing your agility in Crackdown take a look at the Crackdown Agility Tips page.
Agency Brawler - 20 gamerscore points.
Punch, jab, kick, and throw your way to a 4-star Strength rating.
Tip: Getting the Agency Brawler achievement is similar to the above achievement, you just need to get your strength rating to 4, for tips on increasing your strength in Crackdown take a look at the Crackdown Strength Tips page.
Agency Explosives Expert - 20 gamerscore points.
Bomb your way to a 4-star Explosives rating.
Tip: The same applies here, in order to get the Agency Explosives Expert achievements you will need to get your explosives rating to 4, for tips on increasing your explosives rating in Crackdown take a look at the Crackdown Explosives Tips page.
Agency Marksman - 20 gamerscore points.
Hit your target every time to achieve a 4-star Firearms rating.
Tip: Chances are, getting the Agency Marksman achievement will come naturally, as one of the main methods of disposing of gang members is through the use of firearms such as rifles. However, if you need more help on getting this done quicker, take a look at the Crackdown Marksman Tips page.
Agency Wheelman - 20 gamerscore points.
Accelerate and slide your way to a 4-star Driving rating.
Tip: Alright, so by now you have figured out that it is quicker to traverse the world or Crackdown on foot, since you can jump and leap over and on buildings and rooftops. But using a vehicle can be quite satisfying, especially once you reach a driving rating of level 4. For hints and tips on increasing your driving rating in Crackdown, see the Crackdown Driving Tips page.
Airtime Assassin - 10 gamerscore points.
Shoot and kill 5 gang members in a single jump [while airborne].
Tip: The Airtime Assassin achievement is another really simple one. All you need to do is equip a bazooka, or other type of explosive type weapon (I prefer the Firefly, since it is heat seeking and really simple to effectively target some unfortunate group gang members), target them, jump, and fire. Chances are you'll get it on the first shot.
Bare-Knuckle Brawler - 15 gamerscore points.
Kill 150 gang members with your bare hands [or thrown objects].
Tip: Getting the Bare-Knuckle Brawler achievement is simple - chances are you already have it because killing gang members with your bare hands is so much fun. If not, then have at it. Using other items to kill them counts as well, such as cars, big trash bins, etc. I like to melee the vehicles while the gang members are still in it, since targeting a gang member is much simpler when they are in the vehicle, and you can easily kill more than one at a time in this manner.
