1. L1 & L2 - Indicated as Left Shoulder Buttons 1 and 2 or L1 and/or L2 in cheats. Sometimes used as a button for cheat code entry. Not fully shown in image.
2. R1 & R2 - Indicated as Right Shoulder Buttons 1 and 2 or R1 and/or R2 in cheats. Sometimes used as a button for cheat code entry. Not fully shown in image.
3. Directional Pad- Indicated as Directional Pad or D-Pad in cheats. This is the most common directional input method for cheat codes.
4. X, O, Triangle, and Square Buttons - Indicated individually as the respective button. For pure cheat codes, this is the most direct input method, normally used with the D-Pad.
5. Select Button - Sometimes used to enter cheats during gameplay, used as a button.
6. Start Button - Indicated as Start Button or Start in cheats. Some cheats require the Start Button be pressed before codes are input.
7. Left Thumbstick - Indicated as Left Thumbstick or Left Analog in cheats. In some cheats can be used as a directional, but not always. Can be used as a button as well.
8. Right Thumbstick - Indicated as Right Thumbstick or Right Analog in cheats. In some cheats can be used as a directional, but not always. Can be used as a button as well.
