Easy Coin Trick
In the Thwomp Volcano, there is a part where you are supposed to get 30 gems in order to pass. When you complete it, go out and re-enter this level. Now step on the Thwomp and say 'Yes' that you want to play you will see a screen prompting you.
Now try and get any number of gems. You do not want to get all 50 since you will get 20 coins as a reward then go back out and repeat this over and over. This is a free game and just remember to trigger the mini-game stomp on the Thwomp. A great way to collect extra coins and fast without a glitch or a complicated process.
Performing the Dodge Attack
During a battle simply press the attack button for Mario or Luigi to dodge enemy attacks.
The First Boss and How to Beat Him
Wait for the Shroobs to get a Poison Mushroom and the Boss will turn green. Now attck him and keep it up but be careful and do not let him turn red. If he is do not attack, avoid him and wait til he is changing colors then attack repeat this and soon the battle is over.
How to Beat Bowser and Baby Bowser
You will want to stock up on Ice Flowers first before trying to defeat them. Then When Baby Bowser uses his adult form as some sort of hockey item, use your hammer to smash it back to him, because he will continue to heal back to his adult form. If you succeed, Baby Bowser will miss hitting the adult form and he will be on his own for a small amount of time.
Now get Red Peppers to increase your attack and Blue Peppers to increase your speed. Give the Red Peppers to the adult Mario and Luigi and keep using Ice Flowers. An alternative is the Green Shell or the Pocket Chomp. If used correctly, there should be a signal that his defense has been lowered.
Remeber to use as many Ice flowers as you have to weaken him. When he goes back to his adult form continue damaging him. Then use the hammers again and continue the process. After Baby Bowser is defeated, just repeat the same process with adult Bowser. Remember to watch for when he is getting weak and you should beat him easilly.
How To Beat Mrs. Thwomp
She will usually jump up on the top of the screen and spin. If she lands on Mario's side, make Mario jump first then Luigi. If she manages to jump in the middle make them both jump at the same time to avoid damage. She will spit out rocks at you. Try to break them since you earn items like Ice Flowers, Fire Flowers, Coins and Mushrooms. Now when you damage her enough she will break apart and have four mini versions of her. Pay attention to which eyebrow raises, as that is the direction they will be going. When they jump toward you, just hit them with the hammer.
If they hit you enough times, you will get dizzy and may miss a couple turns. When it is your turn, get a Red Pepper and use Ice Flowers to hit them all. It might lower some defenses. Try using Ice Flowers it will then transform back to its bigger self and continue the same process. It may seem like the battle is endless, but continue the process and she will eventually be defeated. It is a patteren and once learned she will be defeated but taking some extra time and try breaking the rocks as they will add up over the course of the battle.
