The PC edition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has cheat codes that allow players to control the in-game weather patterns. Oblivion weather commands can be entered using the cheat console.

These cheats are exclusively available for the Windows version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

How to Change the Weather in Elder Scrolls IV

To use weather cheat codes while playing Oblivion:

  1. Press the tilde (~) key to bring up the cheat console.

  2. To change the weather instantly, type fw followed by the weather code, then press Enter. For example, to make it rain, enter:

    fw 38EF2

    Alternatively, enter sw followed by the weather code for a more gradual weather change.

  3. Press tilde (~) again to dismiss the console.

There are also item cheat codes for Oblivion that instantly add items to your inventory.

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Weather Commands

These Oblivion cheat codes can be used almost anywhere, even the ones that are region-specific. For example, the code 836D5 will make the sky like it is in Tamriel wherever you currently are.

If you add 1 after the code, the weather will stay that way until you either change it again or enter releaseweatheroverride in the cheat console.
