10. Create Your Character Carefully
Create your character carefully. If you choose to be a certain class, keep in mind the race's bonus skills and special powers, remembering these will be crucial later on.
9. Choose Complimenting Skills
If your going to be combat, stealth or magical be sure to choose the skills that compliment which ever you decide to be. For example if you choose combat, be sure to choose a skill like Blade or Heavy Armor, these skills are primarially combat oriented.
8. Practice Makes Perfect
Practice makes perfect. Want to be able to disarm your opponent or cast powerful spells? You have to practice your skills if you want to get better at them. But if you prefer the faster route you can also receive training from various trainers across Cyrodill.
7. Stock Up on Potions
Make sure you are well stocked with potions. There is nothing worse then being turned into a Vampire when you didn't want to because you didn't have any Cure Disease Potions when you entered that Vampire den.
6. Fight Off the Demons with Spirits
Always carry some kind of weapon to fight off spirits and such, be it silver or magical weapons.
5. Search for Armor, Weapons and Gear
Merchants do not carry very much, so if you want new armor or a new weapon you will have to go find it yourself. Search caves and ruins for bandits and mauraders who might be wearing or weilding something you want.
4. Don't Lose Experience by Fast Travelling
The fast travel is wondeful. But sometimes try walking to your destination, it takes longer but you can gain experience this way. Plus you can get to enjoy the view. Horses are good for this if walking is just to slow for you.
3. Be Prepared to Repair
Carry repair hammers. Even if its not one of your major skills, its still helpful to be able to repair your weapons and armor while adventuring.
2. Explore for Cash
Short on cash? Go explore a ruins or a cave. You never know what you will find.
1. Keep Your Friends Close, and Your Enemies Closer
Familiarize yourself with each kind of enemy you encounter. Knowing their strengths and weakness' can better prepare you so that you can decide how you will fight and ultimately achieve victory.
