The following cheats, codes, and secrets are available for Dynasty Warriors 3 on the Sony PlayStation 2 video game console.
All FMV Sequences
Highlight the Free Mode icon at the main menu. Press Triangle, L1, Triangle, R1, Triangle, Square, L2, Square, R2, Square. A cheer confirms correct code entry.
All Generals
Highlight the Free Mode icon at the main menu. Press R2 (3), L1, Triangle, L2 (3), R1, Square. A cheer confirms correct code entry.
All Items
Go to the "Options" in the main menu and highlight "Open Screen." Press R1, Square, R1, Triangle, R1, L1, Square, L1, Triangle, L1.
All Shu Generals

All Wei Generals

All Wu Generals
Highlight the Free Mode icon at the main menu. Press L2, L1, Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, R2, L1, L2. A cheer confirms correct code entry.
BGM Test Option
Highlight the Free Mode icon at the main menu. Press L1 (2), R1 (2), L2 (2), R2 (2), Square, Triangle. A cheer confirms correct code entry.
Bonus FMV Sequence
Highlight the "Replay" option at the Opening Edit screen, hold R1+L1+R2+L2, and then press X. Alternately, hold R1+L1+R2+L2 and press Start. You see all the people from the gray army dancing.
Control Loading Screen
Press Circle to increase the wind as the level name flutters on the loading screen before a battle. Press X to decrease the wind speed.
Free Mode Side Selection
Highlight the Free Mode icon at the main menu. Press R1, R2, L2, L1, Square, L1, L2, R2, R1, Triangle. A cheer confirms correct code entry.
In-game Reset
Press Select+Start during gameplay.
Opening Edit Option
Highlight the Free Mode icon at the main menu. Press R1, Square, R1, Triangle, R1, L1, Square, L1. A cheer confirms correct code entry.
Start with Additional Characters
Start the game with a memory card with a saved game from Dynasty Warriors 2. Some characters unlocked in Dynasty Warriors 2 are available in your new game.
