Cheat Codes
The following cheats are available for Armored Core 2 on the PlayStation 2 console.
Human Plus Cheats
If you drop to -50,000 credits an experiment will be done on you, continue to do this multiple times to get the full effect of the cheat. Each time you do so you will restart the game, but you begin with various cheat effects listed below:
- Human Plus Cheat #1 - Unlocks Automatic Radar.
- Human Plus Cheat #2 - Unlocks the ability to throw Laserblades.
- Human Plus Cheat #3 - Heat is taken away from attacks.
- Human Plus Cheat #4 - Unlocks ability to walk walk shooting back weapons.
- Human Plus Cheat #5 - Uses half energy.
- Human Plus Cheat #6 - Unlocks double energy.
First Person Angle
Hold Start, Square, Triangle during gameplay, press Start again to resume the game.
Drop Parts
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Triangle to drop your R arm weapon, back unit, and inside parts.
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 to drop extension parts.
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Circle to drop L arm weapons.
Unlockables
Acquire Ranked AC Emblems
After defeating an AC in the Arena, when the ''WIN'' message is displayed, press Select and Start simultaneously to add the emblem into the pre-made list.
Allow Overloaded AC
After completing the game, load your cleared game data to be able to use your ACs with more than the allowed weight.
