Unlockables
The following can be unlocked in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai on the PlayStation 2 video game console.
View Alternate Costumes
To view alternate costumes press R1 and R2 at the Capsule Change screen. You can also rotate the characters with the left analog stick and zoom in and out using L1 and L2.
Change Appearance
To change the appearance of your character, press Circle or Square at the character selection screen. The character will have different colors or clothing. You can preview this with the View Alternate Costumes method listed above.
Android #16
Complete the Aim For Perfect Form episode.
Cell, Android #17, Teen Gohan
To unlock the above, play through The Android's Saga at any level.
Dodoria
Defeat Recoome with Vegeta.
Freiza, Recoome, and Ginyu
Play through The Namek Saga at any level.
Mr. Satan / Hercule
At the Adept level, win a world match tournament.
Nappa, Radditz, and Vegeta
Play through The Saiyan Saga at any level.
Gohan's Alter Ego, Saiyaman
At the advanvced level, win a world match tournament.
Super Saiyan Ability, Goku Only
Play through The Namek Saga at any level.
Super Saiyan Ability, Vegeta Only
Play through The Android's Saga at any level.
Super Vageta
Successfully complete The Vageta's Cinfidence mission.
Trunks
Complete the Perfect Form Cell Complete mission.
Yamcha
Successfully complete the Aim For Perfect Form episode.
Zarbon
Successfully complete the Vegeta's Attack episode.
Adept and Advanced World Tournaments
Complete the Novice World Tournament and you will be able to purchase this mode from Mr. Popo's Shop.
Legend of Hercule Mode
Complete the World Tournament on the Adept level and you be able to purchase this mode from Mr. Popo's Shop.
