Overdrives Explained
- Auron: Find different Jeckt Spheres laying through out the world. Some of these will give Auron a new Overdrive. You need to find all ten of them to get Auron's final overdrive.
- Kimari: Simply use the Dragon Sword ability to drain HP & MP from the enemy. If the enemy has a Blue magic skill that Kimari can learn, he will gain it automatically. The only one that is a bit difficult to get is Sunshine. That you obtain from the Omega Weapon.
- Lulu: All you need to do is rotate the right analog stick clockwise as fast as you can. You will see the numbers start going up when you increase the speed of the right analog stick. You can use this to level Lulu up this way it is easier to cast multiple spells.
- Rikku: Rikku's overdrive combines items to create special attacks and power-ups during battle. Just remember you have to choose any two items to combine these attacks. Also keep in mind using the same items together will not work.
- Tidus: All you need to do is have Tidus keep using them over and over. After a while Tidus will automatically learn his new Overdrive.
- Wakka: Just go enter the Blitzball Rankings and the Tournament modes to win the overdrive.
Hidden Aeons Key
Yojimbo: In the Calm Lands you will need to circle past the right side of the bridge leading to Mt. Gagazet. Then go down into the gorge that is right below. To the left of the Save Sphere is the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. Go through the cave until you encounter a spirit. Defeat Yojimbo and then speak to him to negotiate a fee for his services.
Anima: Head straight to Baaj Temple with the Airship, then dive into the water and fight Geosgaeno. Defeat it and swim toward the underwater temple entrance. Approach the six statues, on either side there is one hidden item in each of Spira's six Cloisters of Trails. You should have five of these items by the time you complete this part. Now get the last one from Zanarkand Dome. Solve the puzzle there and return with the last item and you will receive your prize Aeon.
The Magus Sisters: Capture all of the required types of fiends on Mt. Gagazet and then return to the monster arena and get the Blossom Crown. You must possess all other Aeons including Yojimbo and Anima. Now go to Remiem Temple and defeat Spathi and receive the Flower Scepter. After defeating all of the “Aeons” at Remiem Temple you need to use the Blossom Brown and the Flower Scepter. Just use them on the door in the back to unseal it and get the Magus Sisters.
Lightning Dodging Will Earn Special Items
Once in the Thunder Plains if you can dodge the lightning a certain number of times in a row you will be rewarded with items randomly. Also, if you get struck by lightning 30 times, you get an Ether. If you get hit 80 times, you get an Elixir. This will take time to learn how to pull off after you learn how to dodge the lighting. You will learn by repeating this and successfully dodging the lightning a certain number of times you will earn new items. You will want to try and do it five times in a row first. Then the next item is at ten dodges and so on. This takes time but if you can to it 200 times in a row you will be highly rewarded with a great item.
