Glitch - The Ultimate Get Out of Jail Free Card
Okay, while Need For Speed Most Wanted is a great game and I hate to ruin it by giving this out there is a little glitch that will help you. This should be used only when it is the last resort or if you’re having trouble with a certain Milestone event. Or you can really try and rack up the bounty points and go for the record with having a safety net so to speak.
Enter any Milestone Event or it will also work when in any pursuit mode. If you get busted and it is your last time for the car you are in or low on cash wait for the busted intro to start. Right when the video starts showing them taking you away here is a way to go back to the safe house.
If you are playing on the Xbox 360 just remove the battery pack. If you are playing the Xbox version pull out the controller from the port and the same for the PS2. It will prompt you to reconnect the controller but you will notice that there is a pause banner across the frozen screen. Put back in the battery and turn on the controller for the Xbox 360 version and hit the A or start button if the intro starts to continue repeat the little trick it should bring up the menu for the free roam, safe house etc. Pick the safe house no fine, no strike or foul.
For the Xbox and PS2 just plug back in the controller and follow the same basic rule above. Timing is the hardest part just do not rely on this free card too much or you will pay for it later as the game will take you back to the safe house, but the wanted level stays the same as when you where busted.
