Cheat Codes
The following cheats are available for Prototype on the PlayStation 3 (PS3) video game console.
Unlock Body Surf Ability
Cheat code: Right, Right, Left, Down, Up, Up, Up, Down
Unlock Hard Mode
Complete the game on Normal to unlock hard mode.
New Game + Mode
Simply complete the game on Easy or Normal to unlock the New Game + Mode. In this mode Alex' skills are unlocked from the beginning. If you beat the game on Easy you will unlock Easy + Mode, if you beat it on Normal you will unlock Normal + Mode and Easy + Mode (if you skipped easy completely).
Trophies
The following trophies can be unlocked in Prototype on the PlayStation 3 video game console. To unlock a trophy simply complete the indicated task. The list below represent the trophy name, how to unlock it, and if it is a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum trophy.
Au (silver trophy)
Achieve a rating of gold or better in all events
Brain Trust (bronze trophy)
Complete all consume events
Cleanup (bronze trophy)
Kill 15 characters with a single whipfist attack
Endless Hunger (silver trophy)
Consume 200 characters to boost your health
Evolutionary step (bronze trophy)
Use the upgrade menu to acquire an upgrade
Gunning (bronze trophy)
Destroy 20 helicopters in a single helicopter flight
Half-Truths (bronze trophy)
Complete a mission without causing a single military alert
Hard To Kill (gold trophy)
Complete story mode in any difficulty without dying
Hope (bronze trophy)
Discover the truth behind Hope, Idaho through the Web of Intrigue.
In Plain Sight (bronze trophy)
Evade 10 strike teams
In The Web (bronze trophy)
Consume 50 web targets
Infiltrator (bronze trophy)
Infiltrate 10 military bases disguised as a commander
It's Him! (bronze trophy)
Patsy 5 military personnel
Mankind is your mask (silver trophy)
Complete 3 missions without causing a single military alert
Misconception (bronze trophy)
Destroy 25 infected water towers before they hatch
Nice Guy (silver trophy)
Complete the game while consuming 10 civilians or fewer
Origin (bronze trophy)
Discover the history of Elizabeth Greene through the Web of Intrigue.
Platinum Trophy (obviously, the platinum trophy)
Collect all other trophies
Polymath (silver trophy)
Collect all hint collectibles scattered across New York City
Pt (gold trophy)
Achieve a platinum medal in all events
Repossession (bronze trophy)
Seize 50 vehicles from enemy hands
Return Fire (bronze trophy)
Catch any object tossed by a hydra; and throw it back
Revenge Revisited (gold trophy)
Complete story mode on hard difficulty
Self-Deception (bronze trophy)
Discover what happened to Alex Mercer through the web of intrigue
SME (bronze trophy)
Gain the ability to drive and fly all vehicles
Speed Bumps (bronze trophy)
Run over 500 characters in a single tank
Streetwise (silver trophy)
Collect all landmark collectibles scattered across New York City
Surface-To-Air (bronze trophy)
Shoot down 50 helicopters while driving armor
The butcher (silver trophy)
Kill 50 characters in 5 seconds
The Cleaner (silver trophy)
Destroy 10 military bases or infected hives in New York City
The First Thread (bronze trophy)
Unlock the web of intrigue
Threat Elevated (bronze trophy)
Destroy 25 strike teams
Trail Of Corpses (silver trophy)
Kill 53,596 infected
Unnatural Selection (silver trophy)
Acquire all available upgrades
Web Of Knowledge (gold trophy)
