Unlockable Game Play Modes
The following game play modes can be unlocked in Dead Rising on the Xbox 360. Simply achieve the required task to unlock the indicated mode:
Infinity Mode
This is unlocked by obtaining the true ending. There are seven endings to Dead Rising, this is Ending A listed below.
Overtime Mode
When you finish the first 72 hours of Frank's stay in the mall and return to the helipad by noon on the 22nd.
Dead Rising Endings
There are seven endings to the video game Dead Rising in 72 hour mode, completing, or not completing certain tasks will determine which ending you receive:
Ending A
Solve all cases and return to the teleport at 12 am on the 22nd.
Ending B
Solve all cases and resue a certain number of survivors.
Ending C
Don't get to the helliport on time and solve all cases.
Ending D
Be a prisoner of the special forces at 12 am on the 22nd.
Ending E
Dont be at the helliport and dont solve all cases.
Ending F
Fail to collect all of Carlitos bombs on act 7-2.
Dead Rising Unlockables
The following items can be unlocked in Dead Rising. They are unlocked at the same time you unlock certain achivements. The unlockables are listed below along with the achievements that will unlock them. All of the unlockables become available inside shopping bags behind the air ducts in the security room.

Gaining PP Easily
In Dead Rising, PP is like experience points in other popular RPG titles. The key however, is that when you start another game after dying you can continue with any accumilated PP from previous game, thus beginning at a higher level with more special moves and abilities unlocked. Here are some ways to get easy PP in Dead Rising.
Saving Natalie and Jeff on the Roof
At the beginning of the game when you enter the rooftop, Natalie is to your left and Jeff is to your right, by the elevator. Speak to Jeff to have him join you, then have him follow you to Natalie, and speak to her as well. Be ready with your camera and snap a shot as they hug each other for a good amount of PP.
In the Helicopter
As the game begins you are in the helicopter. Be sure to snap a shot of the gas station while it blows up. Another good shot to take is of the woman being tackled off of the roof, try getting a shot of her while she is in the air.
The Frying Pan
Go to a food area of the mall and locate a frying pan, then examine the stove. Simply examining the stove will earn you 2000 PP. When you kill zombies with the hot frying pan, you can hold X to earn extra PP while burning their faces.
In the Gym
You can earn easy PP in the gym. Knock down all of the punching bags, and hit the treadmills until they are destroyed. When all is said and done you will have earned over 10000 PP.
Run Over Zombies
When the game first start and you can get outside, do so and run to the parking lot. You'll need to go through a couple of alley ways to get there. Once there, you will see a motorcycle and a car. Avoid the zombies until you can get in the car. Then use the car to mow down as many zombies as you can before the car is destroyed.
Toy Shop
While you are in the toy shop hit the giant servebot until the swirley eyes are lined up with the sad face. You'll gain 10000 PP doing this.
