Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai is a fighting game exclusively for the Sony PSP. In addition to unlockable characters, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai has cheat codes to help you succeed in combat.

These cheats are for the PSP game Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai, not to be confused with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi or Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 for PS2.

How to Unlock Characters in Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai

You'll unlock additional fighters as you play through Story mode.

Adult Gohan (Super Saiyan Form) Defeat Frieza in Chapter 1-8.
Adult Gohan (Super Saiyan Form 2) Defeat Broly in Chapter 2-6.
Broly (Legendary Super Saiyan Form) Defeat Frieza in Chapter 4-6.
Cell (Super Perfect Form) Defeat Cell in Chapter 2-5.

How to Unlock the Dragon Click Mini-Game

After completing Arcade Mode, press L at the main menu to unlock Dragon Click on the Dragon Radar, then press R to play the mini-game. All you do is press R as many times as possible before the time runs out.

How to Unlock the Sound Test

After completing Dragon Road, press L at the main menu to unlock the Dragon Player on the Dragon Radar.

How to Start in a Transformed State

Hold R as you select a transformed character to begin the battle in a transformed state without having to power up first.
