Unlockables
The following gameplay modes can be unlocked in Gears of War on the Xbox 360.
Unlock Insane Difficulty
To unlock the insane difficulty, simply beat the game on Casual or Hardcore. The new Insane difficulty option will become available when beginning a new game or continuing a game.
Secrets
The following secrets are available for Gears of War on the Xbox 360 video game console.
COG Tags
To help make finding COG tags in the game easier, the Gears of War logo is plastered in various places within the game. When you see the red logo somewhere it generally means a COG tag is nearby. The tag will not necessarily be right there, but it will be close by, and definitely in that same chapter (generally in the same room or area, or within two areas).
Secret Unlockable Gamerpic[
When you complete the game on the insane difficulty level you will unlock a secret Gears Of War gamerpic.
