Lean your Board back for Higher Jumps
Pull back on the left stick before jumping or hitting a ramp to get more air. Increase your jump even further by holding down the A and B button at the same time to perform a 'boost jump'.
Double Jump
Hit jump (A) when against a wall to perform a 'double jump' this can get you to hard to reach places and help you turn quicker in the air.
Takedown
Look out for good sniping points in the level and sit and takedown your opponents as they rush around. Constantly move to different sniping positions to keep your opponents guessing where you are.
Flag
Go for full board and weapon juice before chasing the flag. Try not to take down the flag carrier too far away as someone else will likely get the flag when they drop it. Once you have the flag go for question marks (when they are nearby) - an invincibility will almost certainly give you enough time to get all 4 consequent flags, and you'll likely win the match.
Hunter
stay out of the open when you have the orb and avoid grinding as much as possible. Keep an eye out for the minimap to see where your opponents are heading and stay on the move. Look out for hard to get to vantage points where you can hide out for a few extra seconds.
Chaos
Look out for targets and flags appearing on the minimap in games with 4 or less people. In 8 player games just keep running between points where you know the flags and targets appear most and keep your gun and board juice high. Try not to panic
Racing
look out for big jump shortcuts throughout the levels. Upgrade your jump and play around in single player exhibition matches to master all the shortcuts in all the races.
Pickup Tournaments
Pick up wrenches early in each match to increase your board and gun abilities, except in chaos where games can be over very quickly.
Cash Tournaments
Get your board speed and board boost upgraded as early as possible - this extra speed will help you snatch more cash in the earlier games which you can then invest in shield and weapons during the rest of the tournament. Upgrade jumping to hit shortcuts in the races. Don't worry too much if you lose some of the earlier games - go for getting cash and then hit hard for the late run to victory.
The Double and Triple Squeeze
When you get somebody lined up, you can let them have it with, the proverbial, both barrels (or in our case all three barrels). Fire off your rocket, lasers and stampedes all at the same time (this is of course handy with them all being bound to the triggers). Balancing your weapon upgrades in cash tournaments can work well here - for the price of maxed out rockets, you can get lasers, stampedes and rockets all over 50% upgraded. This technique, while powerful, will waste a ton of weapon juice, so be careful. This is a good strategy to employ with characters like Bombzonie as he has the best weapon efficiency and consumes the least juice.
