Infinite Money Trick / Glitch
In career mode, buy the Volkswagon Jetta GLX VR6 from the VW dealership. Then go into the garage and into the 'buy upgrades' screen. Enter the 'engine and power' section and purchase every engine upgrade available (including each individual turbo upgrade, every intercooler, etc) except for the engine swap. Then purchase the second engine available in the engine swap for 2500 Credits. After buying the new engine, re-install the stock engine. You can then sell the second engine you just bought for 44,092 Credits, making a good profit. You can keep buying and selling the second engine for unlimited cash.
Fast Online Ranking and Money
This cheat, glitch, whatever you decide to call it must be done on Xbox Live. Have the host start the race with only a single lap. As soon as the race starts, have the host go across the start/finish line and then quit the race and return to the lobby. As the race is still going on, have the host go to game setup screen, then go to "Laps" and set it to as high as possible. The other racers in the race will finish the single lap race. If done correctly, the racers that finish that single lap race will get paid for the laps that the host changed it to when they exit. So if the host changes it to 25 laps, all the racers will get credit for 25 laps, even though they only raced one. Be sure to repay your cheating host by hosting for him or her.
