The Infamous Missingno. Trick
- First, you must have been to Cinnabar Island at least once. Fly to Viridian City and talk to the Old Man who stopped you at the beginning of the game. Agree to let him show you how to catch Pokemon. Afterwards, Fly back to Cinnabar Island and SUrf along the eastern shore. At some point you'll see a strange block called 'M', or Missingno. It might also look like an Aerodactyl or Kabutops fossil from the Pewter Museum, or the Ghost from Pokemon Tower. Do NOT CATCH IT! Run away or defeat it. Look in your bag. The sixth item will be mulitplied, so you'll now have over a hundred of them! Warning! Do not do this with a one-time only items, like the bike or something in the sixth position. You NEVER be able to get rid of the damned thing, and can't throw out the extras...

Spiritomb glitch
- I've found that if your Pokemon are all high levels (either that or it's after you've beaten last leaders) you cannot use the keystone on the tower. It's a glitch both of my friends have had, and their Pokemon were both level 100 when they tried it. I tried it at level forty and was fine.
